早陣子幫 Red Bull 寫了一篇關於奧地利的文章，又想起奧地利的美。

文章寫的是香港跳繩運動員何柱霆 Timothy 的歐洲之旅，在奧地利 Salzburg （也是 Red Bull 的大本營所在）的經歷。其實我自己沒有去過 Salzburg，但看相片時總覺得好像很面熟，後來發現原來竟是《Sound of Music》的拍攝城巿！雖然我聽過一些奧地利人說過，他們其實不喜歡這電影（大概就如香港人不喜歡成龍但外國人總愛在我們面前說喜歡 Jackie Chan），但我還是很喜歡這電影，Doe a deer a female deer 這些歌詞還是會不時無意識地哼出來。
今天的奧地利給人感覺與世無爭，遊人去維也納聽聽音樂、去 Hallstatt 遊湖打咭，像 Timothy 那樣在湖中央跳繩也很過癮。像我最愛的電影《Before Sunrise》，主角二人浪漫共遊的地方，也是維也納。
其實在一個世紀多前，奧地利不是奧地利，而是奧匈帝國，領土佔了大半個東歐和巴爾幹半島，第一次世界大戰也是因為皇儲被暗殺而起。不過奧匈帝國在一戰戰敗而解體，國土分崩離析，現在的奧地利在二戰前後曾被德國統治（就是《Sound of Music》的故事背景），二戰結束後宣佈成為像瑞士那樣的永久中立國，直至今天。戰敗、失去國土、被佔領等等，當然看來都是痛苦，可是把歷史拉長來看，沒有過去的痛，也未必有今天的樂。
